General

Explain the different product types.

Best of the Day:
Our Best of the Day programs are filmed live at influential conferences and feature interviews with nationally or internationally renowned experts. These experts provide a synopsis of the most intriguing and exciting studies presented at the conference that day.

Clinical Case Review:
The Clinical Case Review is a novel concept that has expanded the spectrum of continuing education and provides clinically relevant and timely education to community physicians. It is a revolutionary new format that recreates the traditional tumor board setting in which real patient cases are presented by real community oncologists who, in turn, analyze and discuss them just as they do in community hospitals. Patient charts, scans, test results, and stains (deidentified to abide by all HIPAA regulations) are shown and reviewed.

Email Case:
The very popular Email Case Series program provides you with a convenient and interactive way to access clinically relevant case-based information. After reading the initial case, you can submit your choice of therapy using our online response system. Throughout the week, participant responses are tabulated. The following week, a link to the results and a discussion is sent to you.

New Frontiers:
The New Frontiers format is an interview with a nationally or internationally renowned expert in the therapeutic area being covered. It is designed to educate academic and community clinicians about new and emerging therapeutic regimens. Streaming flash video is synchronized with the slide presentation and you are able to download a PDF document of the slides.

Interactive Online Monograph:
The Interactive Online Monograph is an innovative e-learning activity featuring 2-3 case scenarios or debates. Each activity is authored by 2-6 nationally or internationally renowned experts in the therapeutic area being discussed. After reviewing the case scenario/debate topic, you indicate your treatment choice. Evidence-based commentary is provided by the experts for each treatment option/debate topic.

Webcasts:
Our Webcasts feature video of nationally or internationally renowned experts giving their state-of-the-art presentations at one of our live meetings. Streaming flash video is synchronized with the slide presentation and you are able to download a PDF file of the slides.

What are the permissions for download usage?

To ensure that you gain as much educational value from each of our projects we allow for the download of slides/information when possible. Reproduction of the slides in whole or part is prohibited without prior written consent from Imedex and contributing faculty.

I cannot locate the OncoFacts program. Where is that located in the ELC?

Membership

How do I join the E-Learning Center (ELC)?

To access all of Imedex online content, please click the Sign In button in the upper portion of the Web page.

Why am I prompted to sign in?

Due to ACCME regulations we are required to track the usage of all of our accredited projects. By tracking usage we are also able to provide healthcare professionals with the content that they want most, in the format(s) that they desire. Imedex does not share personal information with third parties.

I am a member of the NOCR. Do I have an account on the ELC?

Yes. To access your account on the ELC, click Sign In in the upper portion of the Web page and then click on Forgot password to send a reminder of your account information to your email address.

What is the NOCR?

Established in 1993, NOCR: The Oncology Professional's Network is the proprietary, self-registered network of over 20,000 oncology healthcare professionals who routinely utilize educational offerings developed by Imedex. Members of NOCR have clearly communicated their preference for the educational content, unique format and highly sought-after faculty that participate in activities developed by Imedex.

May I change my password?

It is possible, and preferred, that users change their password frequently. After logging in, click on Account Details and edit the Professional Information section. Please keep in mind the new password minimum requirements are six (6) characters including one (1) capital letter and one (1) number.

Why are the minimum password requirements so complex?

In the future, Imedex accounts will be used for meeting registration and payment options in addition to ELC access. By implementing these requirements, the passwords will offer more security to accounts and our system as a whole.
